iPro Realty Closure: RECO & TRREB Transfer Steps (Deadline August 19, 2025)

Who this is for: iPro Realty agents who are TRREB Members and need to keep trading without interruption.
What to do now: Transfer your registration in RECO MyWeb, then complete your TRREB Member Hub change. Pending transactions are expected to close in the normal course; clients without a firm deal will need new representation agreements with your next brokerage. (Reco)

Step 1 — Transfer your RECO registration (MyWeb)

• Log in to RECO MyWeb and complete a Transfer (change in employing brokerage). Your new brokerage/Broker of Record typically initiates/accepts the transfer. Do this on or before Aug 19, 2025. (Reco)

Step 2 — Update your TRREB membership (Member Hub)

• After RECO confirms your transfer, complete your TRREB change in the Member Hub (your new brokerage will trigger the process and you’ll finalize forms there). (TRREB)

Representation agreements, listings & deals

• When a brokerage closes, representation agreements with that brokerage end. Re-paper clients under your new brokerage if they wish to continue with you.

• Pending transactions: RECO indicates they should continue to close during the wind-down. (Reco)

If you’re owed a commission (agents)

• File a Commission Protection claim with the insurer’s adjuster ClaimsPro LP (use the official claim form).

Consumer deposits (buyers/sellers)

• Consumers submit a Deposit Insurance claim via RECO’s program. Limits and process are outlined on RECO’s site. (Reco)
